BCS employs architects, engineers and other construction professionals with a proven track record of excellent customer service. The following individuals are part of the BCS team:

H. Naples, PE, LEED AP, RS - Ms. Naples is a licensed engineer, LEED Accredited Professional and Reserve Study Specialist with 20 years of experience in the construction industry.  She has a strong background in program management, project management, budget cost estimating, scheduling, and quality assurance/quality control. Since founding BCS in 1997, Ms. Naples has provided the full spectrum of construction project management services and business process re-engineering for a number of government agencies throughout Northern Virginia and Washington, DC.

N. Brown, CCE - Mr. Brown is a civil engineer and Certified Cost Engineer with 13 years of experience in the construction industry with a strong background in project management, construction management, cost estimating/control, scheduling, and claims analysis. He also has experience in the renovation of occupied facilities and fast-track projects and is proficient with Primavera and Microsoft Project Scheduling software and AutoCAD. He has provided progress review and evaluation, technical design and coordination reviews, CPM scheduling, cost analysis, claims analysis, and determination of merit on a number of government projects throughout the Northern Virginia and Washington, DC.

V. Amir-Orrel, PMP - Ms. Amir-Orrel has a Masters in Engineering Management and is a Project Management Professional with 12 years of project management experience. She has a strong background in process development, budget control, scheduling, quality assurance/quality control, project management information systems, and database development. Her experience includes serving as Project Manager on relocation projects for Walter Reed Army Institute of Research and for the United States Patent and Trademark Office. She currently supports the Department of Homeland Security with RWA management and process improvement.

D. Machion, LEED AP - Mr. Machion is an architect and LEED Accredited Professional with 12 years of project management experience with commercial and Government office space build-out and new construction. He has provided education courses for LEED to staff and Industry professionals, and has been a guest lecturer for MCCC 2007 Green Week and speaker at the IIDA Mid-Atlantic Sustainability Forum in 2007. Mr. Machion is currently supporting Department of Homeland Security to manage multiple projects including their campus-wide perimeter security project and power infrastructure upgrades.

S. Cordes, PMP - Mr. Cordes is a Project Management Professional with experience managing construction projects and facilities call centers for the Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Navy. His responsibilities have progressed from providing oversight of the day-to-day core facilities related functions to managing multi-floor construction renovation and new build-out projects. He is currently supporting the Department of Homeland Security to manage multiple concurrent tenant improvement and alteration projects.

L. McSwain, PMP, CCM, CGC – Ms. McSwain has a Master’s in Business Administration and is a general contractor, Certified Construction Manager, Project Management Professionaland Government project manager with 32 years of practical experience in the construction profession. Her work has been with both Federal and commercial clients, including the GSA and Department of Homeland Security. She is relentlessly proactive, and excels in coordinating projects among multiple stakeholders. She has a reputation for taking projects that are behind schedule and working with the team to bring the projects back on track.  She is a subject matter expert and has taught construction project management related courses at the University level.  Ms. McSwain is currently providing project management services to the General Services Administration for building renovation projects throughout the DC area.

S. Jackson, LEED AP, PMP - Mr. Jackson has 18 years of experience in the construction industry with a strong background in project management, budget control, scheduling, quality assurance/quality control, and subcontractor coordination. He also has experience in the renovation of occupied facilities and fast-track projects. Mr. Jackson has served as Project Manager on a number of projects supporting General Services Administration, Department of Homeland Security Headquarters, and Transportation Security Administration. His experience includes LEED-certified projects. He is currently supporting the Transportation Security Administration as a facility and project manager for their central operations center.

M. Haase - Mr. Haase is a civil engineer with 15 years of experience in the construction industry as both a Government consultant and general contractor with a strong background in project management, construction management, cost control and budgeting, scheduling, and financial management. Recent assignments include the Department of Homeland Security Headquarters (DHS), multiple projects with the Transportation Security Administration, Customs and Border Protection, and the General Services Administration (GSA).

B. Gomberg, PMP, LEED Green Associate - Mr. Gomberg is a Project Management Professional and LEED Green Associate with a Masters in Project Management and an MBA. He has 9 years of experience in the construction industry with more than 7 years of project management experience supporting Federal agencies on tenant improvements and complex relocations in occupied Government-owned and leased space. Clients include the Department of Homeland Security, the Patent and Trademark Office, and the General Services Administration. He is currently supporting the Department of Homeland Security as a Project Manager responsible for multiple concurrent tenant improvements and alterations in multiple buildings on a 24/7 operational, secure, historic campus.

B. Spiridigliozzi, ASID – Ms. Spiridigliozzi has a Master’s in Facilities Design and Management with over 20 years of design and project management experience. She is a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers and is NCIDQ certified. Her background includes over a decade of experience working with the Federal Government including General Services Administration (GSA) and the Department of Defense (DoD) as a design and construction project manager.  Several of these positions have been as Team Lead for multiple concurrent and/or single large projects. She is a highly effective team leader, project manager, and goal-oriented decision maker. Barbara is currently the team lead on a nationwide IDIQ contract to provide project management services to the GSA.

C. Garzone, LEED AP – Ms. Garzone has a Masters in Construction Engineering Management with 9 years experience in interior design and tenant fit-out.  Ms. Garzone currently supports the Department of Homeland Security as a Project Manager, performing interior design services for space reconfigurations. She has performed several key roles for various local and federal government agencies, including project management for a large adaptive reuse project for the Metropolitan Police Department, master planning and space planning for the Federal Bureau of Investigation and tenant fit-out management for the Pentagon Renovation.

T. Godbout - Mr. Godbout has 38 years of experience in project management, facility management and contract administration in a Government environment. He served as the senior on-site project manager for the National Science Foundation's new 600,000 sq.ft. Headquarters facility in Ballston, VA and later served as the NSF Facility Manager. Previously he had served as Facility Manager for the U.S. Geological Survey's 1,000,000 sq.ft. facility in Reston, VA. In these positions, he was responsible for developing operating and renovation/construction plans, budgets, justifications and associated documents, selecting contractors, administering construction contracts and ensuring the timely completion of projects. Mr. Godbout retired from Federal Government service in 2003 and currently supports the Department of Homeland Security as a facilities and project manager.

E. Balish, LEED AP – Ms. Balish is a LEED accredited Interior Designer with over ten years of federal, estate quality residential and commercial project management and design expertise.  She holds an OSHA certification. Projects Ms. Balish has worked on include the renovation of the Pentagon and the Ronald Reagan building. She served as Senior Interior Designer/Project Manager on the extensive four year renovation of the residence of the Ambassador of Turkey in Washington, DC. Other projects include the renovation of the club level floor of the Verizon Center, the residence of the ambassador of Hungary, the Alliance Françoise cultural Center and consulting for the Inter- American Development Bank headquarters. Ms. Balish is currently supporting US Customs and Border Protection leading the interior renovation of Ronald Reagan building.

M. Godbout – Mr. Godbout has a Bachelor’s in Public Safety Administration and as an Inspector has over 36 years experience in public safety and compliance. He is a retired Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department Captain with a primary background in emergency preparedness, response, communications, operations, mitigation and recovery. He is familiar with the building trades, having owned and operated a licensed Contracting company for nine years. He has extensive experience with installation and testing of fire control rooms, fire suppression systems (both static and dynamic) and fire alarm systems.  His experience includes inspecting for life safety and fire and hazard prevention for public, private and industrial businesses. Mr. Godbout is currently providing construction inspection services to the General Services Administration for leased facilities throughout the Washington, DC area.

J. Dunn - Mr. Dunn has 28 years of experience in the commercial construction industry. He has held Class-A Masters Licenses in electrical, mechanical, plumbing and general contracting in Virginia. His recent experience is as the owner's representative for large GSA-leased office buildings, and as the Government?s construction project manager for leased laboratory and office space renovations and new construction. He currently supports the General Services Administration as Contract Executive for Department of Commerce facilities.

A. Lyon – Ms. Lyon has a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and a Master’s in Project Management. With 15 years of estimating experience and 11 years of project management experience Ms. Lyon’s work portfolio includes projects in the corporate, educational, government, infrastructure, laboratory, sports, and telecommunications markets. As a cost estimator, Ms. Lyon has performed estimates from the conceptual design stage through to construction documents level for all sixteen CSI divisions. Ms. Lyon is also experienced in budget management, value engineering, value analysis, change order management, constructability studies, and life-cycle cost analysis. Currently Ms. Lyon is providing cost estimating and value engineering services to the General Services Administration (GSA) for leased facilities throughout the DC metro area.

L. Machion,  LEED AP BD+C, NCIDQ – Ms. Machion has a Master of Science in Interior Design and is a Project Manager with 11 years of project management experience. She has a strong background with various aspects of project management from working with multiple agencies in the Federal Government. Her experience includes space planning for multiple projects for the Department of Homeland Security HQ, managing design and construction of tenant improvements for the Air Force at the Pentagon and design and construction management for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). She is currently part of the team supporting the Department of Homeland Security.

S. Miles - Ms. Miles has seven years experience with tenant facilities support and administrative support services for a number of Federal and corporate clients. Recent experience includes providing a variety of project support services on behalf of the Department of Homeland Security. She maintains the DHS Headquarters personnel database, tracking nearly 6,000 employees and contractors in thirteen geographical separate buildings and complexes. Ms. Miles validates personnel data, prepares monthly metrics reports to upper management, and assists new Federal employees and contractors with their physical workstation set-up including e-mail addresses, IT equipment, and personnel identification badging.

 J. Rapp – Mr. Rapp possesses a bachelor's degree in statistics and is proficient at analyzing and creating different forecasting models, in addition to interpreting descriptive and inferential statistics. He is currently supporting the General Services Administration as an Assistant Program Analyst for RWAs (Reimbursable Work Authorizations), researching and processing RWAs into the completion process.

P. Konecni - Mr. Konecni has a Bachelor's in Business Management and is the Office Manager. He has a strong and diverse background in business with skills of human resources, marketing, accounting, finance and customer service. His general duties consist of invoicing, payroll, aiding in contract organization and completion, and office administration.
