Heather Naples, P.E., R.S. - Ms. Naples is a licensed engineer with 17 years of experience in the construction industry, with a strong background in program management, project management, budget cost estimating, scheduling, and quality assurance/quality control. Since founding BCS more than 10 years ago, Ms. Naples has provided the full spectrum of construction project management services and business process re-engineering for a number of government agencies throughout Northern Virginia and Washington, DC.
Nigel Brown, CCE - Mr. Brown is a civil engineer and Certified Cost Engineer with 11 years of experience in the construction industry with a strong background in project management, construction management, cost estimating/control, scheduling, and claims analysis. He also has experience in the renovation of occupied facilities and fast-track projects and is proficient with Primavera and Microsoft Project Scheduling software and AutoCAD. He has provided progress review and evaluation, technical design and coordination reviews, CPM scheduling, cost analysis, claims analysis, and determination of merit on a number of government projects throughout the Northern Virginia and Washington, DC.
Varda Amir-Orrel, PMP - Ms. Amir-Orrel has a Masters in Engineering Management and is a Project Management Professional with 11 years of project management experience. She has a strong background in process development, budget control, scheduling, quality assurance/quality control, project management information systems. She has developed processes and cost tracking systems that were so successful they became the template for other agencies to use. Her experience includes serving as Project Manager on relocation projects for Walter Reed Army Institute of Research and for the United States Patent and Trademark Office. She currently supports the Department of Homeland Security with budget tracking and project management.
Dominic Machion, LEED AP - Mr. Machion is an architect and LEED Accredited Professional with 12 years of project management experience with commercial and Government office space build-out and new construction. He has provided education courses for LEED to staff and Industry professionals, and has been a guest lecturer for MCCC 2007 Green Week and speaker at the IIDA Mid-Atlantic Sustainability Forum in 2007. Mr. Machion is currently supporting Department of Homeland Security to manage multiple projects including their campus-wide perimeter security project and power infrastructure upgrades.
Samuel Cordes, PMP - Mr. Cordes is a Project Management Professional with experience managing construction projects and facilities call centers for the Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Navy. His responsibilities have progressed from providing oversight of the day-to-day core facilities related functions to managing multi-floor construction renovation and new build-out projects. He is currently supporting the Department of Homeland Security to manage multiple concurrent tenant improvement and alteration projects.
Charles Polinger, PE, RPM, CFM - Mr. Polinger is a licensed mechanical engineer, Certified Facilities Manager and Real Property Manager with 37 years of experience in the facilities industry. His experience includes managing power plant operations and facilities management divisions. He retired from the Federal Government as Deputy Director, Operations and Leasing (Triangle Services Center) for General Services Administration (GSA) in 2006. He currently supports the GSA as Account Manager for Triangle Services, where he is responsible for a variety of tasks including managing customer relationships and providing technical support.
Scott Jackson - Mr. Jackson has 17 years of experience in the construction industry with a strong background in project management, budget control, scheduling, quality assurance/quality control, and subcontractor coordination. He also has experience in the renovation of occupied facilities and fast-track projects. Mr. Jackson has served as Project Manager on a number of projects supporting General Services Administration, Department of Homeland Security Headquarters, and Transportation Security Administration. His experience includes LEED-certified projects. He is currently supporting the Transportation Security Administration as a facility and project manager for their central operations center.
Mark Haase - Mr. Haase is a civil engineer with 13 years of experience in the construction industry as both a Government consultant and general contractor with a strong background in project management, construction management, cost control and budgeting, scheduling, and financial management. Recent assignments include multiple projects with the Transportation Security Administration, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and the General Services Administration (GSA). He is currently managing multiple concurrent projects for the DHS Customs and Border Patrol in stations throughout the United States.
Brett Gomberg - Mr. Gomberg has a Masters in Project Management with five years of experience in the construction industry. He has a strong background in project management, construction management, and relocation management and has experience in the renovation and alteration of occupied facilities. Clients include the Department of Homeland Security, DC Public Schools, General Services Administration, and U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He is currently supporting the Department of Homeland Security as a facilities and project manager responsible for multiple concurrent tenant improvements and alterations.
Randal Fink - Mr. Fink is BCS's resident furniture expert. He has 14 years of experience in all facets of furniture including furniture design, selection, procurement, installation and project management for a variety of large, complex government furniture projects. Mr. Fink is currently supporting the Department of Homeland Security. Prior to this assignment, he worked with one of the nation's largest furniture dealerships in all aspects of business, Installation, Project Management, Sales and Management.
Josephine Agbaniyaka - Ms. Agbaniyaka is an Interior Designer with 17 years of experience in interior design and space planning. As an interior designer, she has performed tenant space reviews, space design for new offices, and configurations for office moves and renovations, and worked closely with designers, contractors, and manufacturers for a variety of government and corporate clients. She has provided both interior design and project management on a number of projects for the Department of Homeland Security and the World Bank. She is currently supporting the Department of Homeland Security with interior design and space planning services.
Thomas Godbout - Mr. Godbout has 38 years of experience in project management, facility management and contract administration in a Government environment. He served as the senior on-site project manager for the National Science Foundation's new 600,000 sq.ft. Headquarters facility in Ballston, VA and later served as the NSF Facility Manager. Previously he had served as Facility Manager for the U.S. Geological Survey's 1,000,000 sq.ft. facility in Reston, VA. In these positions, he was responsible for developing operating and renovation/construction plans, budgets, justifications and associated documents, selecting contractors, administering construction contracts and ensuring the timely completion of projects. Mr. Godbout retired from Federal Government service in 2003 and currently supports the Department of Homeland Security as a facilities and project manager.
Kevin Glanville - Mr. Glanville is a mechanical engineer providing program analyst support to Transportation Security Administration's Real Estate Services office. He has a thorough knowledge of AutoCAD and ProDesktop and is proficient with the Microsoft Office suite.
Randal Dunn - Mr. Dunn is an architect with 18 years of experience working with CAFM systems for local government, federal government, educational, and research and development clients. Mr. Dunn's recent projects include CAFM support at the Department of Homeland Security, customizing a facility condition assessment database for Wake County, North Carolina, building a CAFM system used to develop a facilities master plan for Cities Greenville and Charleston, North Carolina, as well as Wake County Government and Wake County Public Schools. He previously served as Program Administrator for the Guilford County School System Maintenance Department in Greensboro/High Point, NC. In this capacity, he provided direct supervision of 76 employees and management of nine departments within the school system. He was involved in the design and renovation of electronics, computer and distance learning labs, identified and solved problems regarding communications, computer repair, security systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, audio-visual, energy management, and indoor air quality issues. Mr. Dunn supports BCS full-time through a subcontract agreement with HOK Architects.
James Dunn - Mr. Dunn has 28 years of experience in the commercial construction industry. He has held Class-A Masters Licenses in electrical, mechanical, plumbing and general contracting in Virginia. His recent experience is as the owner's representative for large GSA-leased office buildings, and as the Government?s construction project manager for leased laboratory and office space renovations and new construction. He currently supports the General Services Administration as Contract Executive for Department of Commerce facilities.
Anthony Adeleke, Esq. - Anthony Adeleke is a licensed attorney barred in the District of Columbia with a BBA in International Business with concentrations in Economics, Finance, and French. He is currently supporting the Transportation Security Administration's Real Estate Services office as a Portfolio Manager. In that position, he tracks and provides detailed status reports on the development of the agency's construction projects. He also provides recommendations on the implementation of the agency's goals and when need be, is responsible for developing and training the agency's employees on new business procedures. Prior to joining BCS, he had experience as a Budget and Resource Analyst supporting the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency; as a Program Analyst for the United States Department of Agriculture; and as the Finance Associate with J.C. Watts Companies. He has used his understanding of government regulations and proficiency with software programs to reengineer business processes and streamline corporate expenditures.
Subrina Miles - Ms. Miles has five years experience with tenant facilities support and administrative support services for a number of Federal and corporate clients. Recent experience includes providing a variety of project support services on behalf of the Department of Homeland Security. She maintains the DHS Headquarters personnel database, tracking nearly 6,000 employees and contractors in thirteen geographical separate buildings and complexes. Ms. Miles validates personnel data, prepares monthly metrics reports to upper management, and assists new Federal employees and contractors with their physical workstation set-up including e-mail addresses, IT equipment, and personnel identification badging.
Joel Costa - Mr. Costa is a Program Analyst supporting the Transportation Security Administration's Real Estate Service office. His other experience includes evaluating work processes and recommending improvements, assisting with project coordination, and various office-wide administrative support duties.
